Terengganu Weather
Terengganu, located on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, has a tropical monsoon climate with warm temperatures ranging from 24°C to 33°C (75°F to 91°F) throughout the year. The state experiences two main monsoon seasons: the Northeast Monsoon (November to March), which brings heavy rainfall and strong winds, often leading to temporary island closures, and the Southwest Monsoon (May to September), which is drier and sunnier. The best time to visit Terengganu is from March to October, when the weather is ideal for exploring Redang Island, Perhentian Islands, and Kapas Island, as well as enjoying outdoor activities like snorkeling, diving, and beachside relaxation.
